For AOL Users: Why when I view a card with Special Effects all I see is a grey box?
   
If you are viewing a greeting with special effects, and only receive a grey box please perform the following steps to ensure that your AOL browser is set to view Java Cards. Please try changing your settings for "Compressed Graphics" To do so:
  1. Click MY AOL
  2. Select Preferences
  3. Click on WWW
  4. Click on the Graphics Tab
  5. Uncheck box for "Compressed Graphics"
  6. Click Okay
  7. Return to REGARDS.COM and click Refresh to reload your page.


If after refreshing the page, a grey box still appears, please perform the following steps to configure your browser to view Java images:
  1. Select MY AOL, located in the AOL Toolbar.
  2. Select Preferences
  3. Click on WWW
  4. Select the Security Tab
  5. Make sure that the dial for Custom is selected.
  6. Click Settings
  7. Choose Enable located next to Active Scripting
  8. Change the setting of Java Permission, located in the Java portion of the Settings list, to Low Safety.
  9. Click Apply
  10. Click Okay
  11. Return to REGARDS.COM and click Refresh to reload your page.



If you have tried both of these troubleshooting methods, and have found unsuccessful results, AOL has recommended that you contact them directly, to solve this problem
