Some AOL users do not receive their card notifications
REGARDS.COM sends out card notifications immediately after you complete your card. Depending on the recipient's Internet Service provider, the time it takes for your recipient to receive their card may vary.

REGARDS.COM has no control over the delivery time period of a greeting card notification once it has been mailed from our system.

This problem may have to do with AOL's new mail filtering policy.

An option may be selected from within the AOL software setup which causes mail to be rejected from unfamiliar web sites such as REGARDS.COM.

We believe this in effort by AOL to help minimize the huge inflow of unsolicited (spam) mail that arrives in AOL mailboxes.

Unfortunately, this feature seems to be filtering out mail to AOL users that originates from REGARDS.COM, and some AOL users are not receiving their greeting card notifications sent by users of our service.

To make sure you or your recipient is not blocking email from our site, please be sure your AOL account is properly configured.

To correct this, do the following:

- Enter Keyword "MailControls"
- Click on "Setup Mail Controls"
- Select the correct screen name
- Click "Edit"
- Select the option "Allow All Email"

Note: Cards sent before this change will not be re-delivered, and re-creating the card may be necessary.

If the recipient you are sending cards to is not receiving the card notifications please advise them of the above procedure.

If this does not solve the problem, Please contact AOL directly at 1-888-265-8006

NOTE: The only other time the situation you described should occur, is if the email recipient actually does not exist, or the address has been incorrectly entered by the person sending the card. This is somewhat common, and in these situations, a user will also receive a return mail stating that the card could not be delivered.... Please be certain that the email addresses to which you are sending greetings are properly typed into our system... Again, we assure you that this has nothing to do with REGARDS.COM's service, and tens of thousands of cards are mailed from our service and received by the specified recipient each day.
