When I select a category I only see empty boxes with NO images.
The above scenario may be accompanied by the appearance of "broken" image links where the images should be seen. There are a number of reasons why this situation may occur. These include:
The Internet is very busy and high traffic levels are slowing down the delivery of images from our site
There is a problem with one of our servers which loads the image files
There is trouble with a main Internet data-transmission line.
Sometimes the solution to this problem may be as simple as clicking on the RELOAD (or REFRESH) button on your browser. Waiting a few minutes between RELOADS may be all that is needed for this problem to pass.

Generally, this situation is only temporary, and usually corrects itself within 20-30 minutes.
